A Beacon of InnovationGillespie Group is proud to announce the expansion of McLaren’s new hospital with the development of a 60,400 sq ft Izzo Family Medical Center at the University Health Park, in partnership with McLaren, MSU Health Care, Helen Devos Children's Hospital, and an additional occupant to be announced in the future.
This new development will provide a premier destination for additional clinical space, medical research, and education as well as increased accessibility of diagnostic imaging to meet the needs of the region. The new diagnostic technology for MRI, CT, x-ray, and ultrasound imaging will result in faster diagnoses, more accurate results, and quicker treatment for patients. In addition, the partnership will work with MSU Health Care to train the next generation of physicians and staff in diagnostic imaging services.
Groundbreaking took place on December 17, 2021, and the Izzo Family Medical Center doors were fully open to patients in July 2023.
The OccupantsIzzo Family Medical Center is comprised of occupants who strive for innovation while bringing excellent patient care to the Tri-County Region and beyond. In addition to patient care, McLaren and MSU Health Care have a strong emphasis on training up the next generation of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. This development will create that opportunity.
